Among the many exhibits displayed at The Morbid Anatomy Library in Brooklyn is a diorama depicting taxidermied kittens attending a wedding ceremony. The piece was built in 1890 and features twenty kittens adorned in intricate Victorian costumes.

A midwife in California recorded the final moments of a mother giving birth in a small pool of warm water in her home. The video, which was filmed after 4½ hours of labor, captures the intimacy of this still-controversial form of delivery.

People will do anything to make a great viral video. This guy, for example, came across some erupting lava, and instead of running, he urinated on it and filmed the results.
